Oculoplastics

Alon Kahana, M.D., PhD - Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Kahana was a tenured professor at the Kellogg Eye Center, University of Michigan, and is currently the Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, William Beaumont School of Medicine. In 2020, Dr. Kahana and Ms. Turner left the University of Michigan together and now run a private practice in Novi, Michigan. Dr. Kahana is a graduate of The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine (MD and PhD), and completed his training in ophthalmology and oculofacial plastic surgery at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Ms. Turner completed her training at the Medical University of South Carolina before returning home to Ann Arbor. Dr. Kahana is President of the North American Society of Academic Orbital Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) - the only ASOPRS-trained oculofacial plastic surgeon in Jackson, MI. Dr. Kahana and Ms. Turner provide surgical and non-surgical care of disorders involving the eyelids (e.g. droopy eyelids, skin cancer), tear system and ocular socket, including cosmetic eyelid and facial plastic surgery.
