Blake Woods Medical Park Surgical Center Celebrates 20 years of Serving Patients (2015)

Jackson, MI-Blake Woods Medical Park Surgical Center is pleased to be celebrating their 20 year anniversary in the Jackson community. Originally founded in 1995, Blake Woods brings a competitive, efficient and well-managed health care option to patients in the mid-Michigan area. 

Blake Woods Medical Park is the choice for many local physicians, as it offers the technology to handle various surgical services, including: ophthalmology, podiatry, orthopedics, and general surgery.  The 12,000 square foot outpatient facility has three surgical suites and procedures suites.        

Because of the technology available at Blake Woods, it has served as the site for many surgical strides in the state of Michigan.  For example, it was the first site in Michigan to use the Femto-Second laser for ophthalmic surgery.  Additionally, the first iStent® surgery for glaucoma patients was performed at the site.  “We are proud to have such an outstanding facility that offers state-of-the-art technology.  Because of our reputation for excellence, patients from all over lower Michigan choose Blake Woods for their procedures,” adds CEO of Blake Woods, noting that the facility has had approximately 6,000 patient visits this year.
